Hoole LTC named ‘Club of the Year’ award at LTA Tennis Awards

We are absolutely delighted that Hoole LTC was named Club Of the Year at the recent LTA National Tennis Award Ceremony that was live-streamed for all to watch.

One of 18 national winners, Hoole received the accolade from the governing body for tennis in Britain on account of their efforts in opening the game up to members of all ages.

There are more than 2,500 LTA-registered clubs in Great Britain, with many seizing the opportunity to regrow as one of the first sports to return after the lockdown period.

Hoole will be hoping to build on the hard yards from 2019, their efforts seeing a 39 per cent growth on membership having embedded themselves onto a new site.

They not only organised an open day for 150 people, but also formed an exciting partnership with the University of Chester, with their highly-active members volunteering for anything from school roadshows to member support groups.

As winners of the Club of the Year title, Hoole LTC will receive a £5,000 facilities grant from the LTA, that will no doubt be put to good use!
