Cheshire hosted a training camp for the GB Visually Impaired Team - B1 (totally blind) classification this Sunday at the Birchwood Tennis Centre, Warrington.

The training day was led by LTA Coach Frankie Rohan and our very own Sue Morrison standing in for Louise Assioun.of LUSU Sports . The participants came from all over the country and included the world no 1, Naqi Rizvi.

The coaching was assisted by Cheshire volunteers - Jayne Huxley-Grantham ( Cheshire Tennis EDI Lead) , Pat Shields ( Lymm Manor Rd), Ben Carrigan ( Great Sankey), Philippa Mort & Junko Tauchi ( both from Bowdon Lawn Tennis Club).

The day was informative and gave great insight into the skill set of these amazing athletes …. We look forward to hosting them again and wish them luck in the upcoming competitions.
