Club's Delight as their Grant from the County Really Does Make A Difference!

North Cheshire LTC, in Wallasey, is delighted to have cmpleted important improvements to their pavilion - thanks to a generous Make A Difference grant from Cheshire County LTA.

The project made the pavilion fit for purpose by installing a pair of glazed French doors into the long elevation, with an associated access ramp from the pathway. This created a second means of escape, wheelchair-friendly access, a lighter interior and better viewing of the courts. The existing rotten door in the short elevation was replaced with a new glazed outward-opening door and the unsafe threshold strengthened. North Cheshire's secretary, Richard Wilberforce said "The Club is delighted with the transformation of the pavilion that these improvements have acheived. We are especially pleased that we were able to get everything in place for the start of the new season. North Cheshire LTC is very grateful to the County for offering the grant and for the speed with which the entire process was handled".  The before and after photos really show the impact this has made.
