Cheslyn Hay Junior section are celebrating a season treble in the Staffordshire LTA County Team Tennis League.

The U14 A team of Keir Bruder, Michael Deweel, Jarnel Dhillon and Jensen Glennon-Dodd finished champions of the top Division 1 county League which involves Clubs from all parts in Staffordshire including Dudley, Lichfield, Stoke and Wolverhampton. The U14 B Team also produce some excellent performances in Divison 1 with many players taking part in their first season of competitive Tennis.

In the U16 age groups the A team in Division 1 also finished champions producing some exciting singles and doubles play throughout the season againstly highly rated players. The U16 B team completed the triple by finishing top of Division 2. The team involved a range of players and special commendations should be made to Will Jones, Cameron Dewell, Alfie Allan-Smith, Edward Ingles and James Dorricott for their commitment during the season. 

 In 2019, Cheslyn Hay had 16 teams competing in Mens, Ladies, U8, U12, U14, U16 and U18 Leagues. 

Chris Perrin, Head Coach said, "It's brilliant for the Juniors to be acknowledged for their dedication, perseverance and improvements within Tennis."

"Six years ago, there was no Tennis Teams in the area and now in 2019 we have lots of young people and adults in the community taking part.

"Our aim is to get as many people rallying, serving and scoring so they can get involved in competition at whatever level they wish"
