In May half term our coaches Adam & James arranged a trip away to Newquay for the weeklong Grade 3 tournament at the Heron Tennis Centre along with 10 junior members from the coaching program and their families. The players attended team training at 7.30 each morning before competing in the tournament and watching and supporting one another when not on court themselves. Several of the parents also competed, so it was a real family affair with plenty of activities between the tennis including mini golf, beach cricket, surfing and group meals out. A fantastic week for our coaches and members in attendance! 

Well done to Alice who won the 18U Girls singles, was Runner-up in the women’s singles and the winner of the 16U doubles with partner Anisha. Alice & Anisha also finished runners-up in the 18U Girls Doubles. Well done to all of the juniors & parents who competed in the event, a great experience for all!
