CTC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Please note that the AGM will be held on Tuesday 5th December at 6pm in the Clubhouse. The agenda and documents will be circulated shortly.

CTC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

The CTC Club Championships will soon be drawing to a close. Well played to all the ladies’ doubles finalists and men’s doubles finalists who played out two excellent finals on Sunday 12th October.

Congratulations to Celine Haddad and Fiona Porter, 6-4, 7-5 winners over Katie & Lisa; and to Abraham Mendes Dacosta & Nat Shirley, 6-2, 7-5 winners over Barnaby Trusler and Ed Thorn.

Still to be played are the ladies’ singles, men’s singles and mixed doubles. Good luck and congratulations to everyone who has taken part and to all those who have made it through to the finals. A huge thank you to Ed Thorn who has given up his time to organise this popular event.

LOVEtennis COACHING

Adult Intermediate Drop in Sessions l LOVEtennis @ Chiswick Tennis Club

Wednesdays 09:30am and Fridays 10:00am

These sessions are for players who are comfortable at rallying from the back of the court with good technical fundamentals. Players in this class can direct the ball cross court or with depth at medium pace and may also be able to generate pace and or spin.

Session includes 1 – 2 hours (depending on numbers) of drills, technique, double’s tactics and a whole lot of excitement and interaction

£21 per person per session

1 Player - Player can request a private lesson instead

2 Players - 60 min

3 - 4 Players - 90 min

4 Players or more - 2 hours

ON-GOING WORKS

The three flat roofs of the clubhouse have been stripped back and re-boarded / re-felted due to a leak on the rear flat roof and rot and leaking on the veranda roof. The space at the rear of the clubhouse has been cleared and locks installed on the doors. This is to ensure members of the public do not stray into this area which is little used.
