Coaching Tournament 

On Friday Jo Martin organised a tournament for our coaching players. There was a good turnout and it was brilliant to see so many Students back from Uni, including two who have recently joined the Club, together with three Junior Members.

After 5 Rounds of hard fought tennis, the eventual Winner was Kris Spencer. Close behind was Leonie Orhan.  And an eventual Tie for Joint 3rd - Benji Caplin, Dawood Jorge, and Maria Bulabos.  Only 1 point behind came Xander Ward. Thank you to Yasser for his assistance with the Singles.

The weather was on its best behaviour and the mince pies went down well. Thanks to Jo for organising this popular event.
 
Club Championship Results

The 2023 Club Championship has almost drawn to a close with just the Ladies’ singles final still to be played. 4 excellent finals have been played so far. Congratulations to:

• Celine Haddad and Fiona Porter, 6-4, 7-5 winners over Katie Ellen & Lisa Woods in the ladies’ doubles
• Abraham Mendes Dacosta & Nat Shirley, 6-2, 7-5 winners over Barnaby Trusler and Ed Thorn in the men’s doubles
• Nat Shirley beat Barnaby Trusler 6-2, 6-1 in the men’s singles
• Katie Ellen & Christian Ward beat Alison Rust & Aneet Morar 6-1, 6-2 in the mixed doubles final

Congratulations to the champions and commiserations to those who just fell at the final hurdle. 
 
Well done to all who have taken part in the Club Championship and a huge thank you as always to Ed Thorn for organising it. 

LOVEtennis Coaching

Adult Intermediate Drop-in Sessions LOVEtennis@ Chiswick Tennis Club
Wednesdays 09:30am and Fridays 10.00am 

These sessions are for players who are comfortable at rallying from the back of the court with good technical fundamentals. Players in this class can direct the ball cross court or with depth at medium pace and may also be able to generate pace and or spin.
 Session includes 1 – 2 hours (depending on numbers) of drills, technique, double’s tactics and a whole lot of excitement and interaction
£21 per person per session

Please see the below that applies to the number of players signing up:
1 Player - Player can request a private lesson instead
2 Players - 60 min
3 - 4 Players - 90 min
4 Players or more - 2 hours
