We paid to play a game involving intelligence and knowledge ... and a few lucky guesses ... which was won by Thelma's husband, Ron:  runner-up was Carol.  With a few extra donations we raised and sent in the sum of £63 to a local charity, The Brigitte Trust, which provides support for people with life-threatening illnesses and their families as they try to cope with difficult days.  Many thanks to everyone who joined in.
