What can you expect?
At the Yellow stage, children are now playing on a full size court with the balls the professionals use. Children will continue to explore different game styles and start to find their own. They will evolve through well-rounded motor skills development whilst improving their physical capacities. By this stage, children will be tennis fans for life!
Notes from the coach
Our u18's class allows kids to build upon existing skills and develop new ones. Kids will learn receiving and sending skills that will help them build rally's and construct points. They'll be learning how to use their serve to set themselves up for success. At the end of term they'll play in a World Tour team event (included in the course fee) to put their skills into action. Also included in the course fee is our new Free Play Friday session - this session gives kids a chance to come and practice the skills they are learning in their course, in a more relaxed environment. There will be a coach on hand to organise games and matches and reinforce the learnings from lessons.
