Merry Christmas to all our members!

Just a few bits of news at this time of year.

Firstly a date to put in your diary of

the AGM which will be on Monday 25th February at the Holly Bush starting at 7.30. It is at this meeting we will make the Draw for the Wimbledon Ticket allocation, so if you are interested in how it is done, please come along.

Talking of Wimbledon Tickets, members will be put into the Draw from the list provided by the LTA of those LTA members who have ‘opted in’. This is a free process for all players over the age of 10, and you will need to have opted in by February 2019. Please go to the LTA website and sign in using your email address and password where there will be details of how to opt-in for this year. If you are having problems having signed in please get in touch with Jo Gibbs-Jones at joannegj@yahoo.com.

The Junior CHRISTMAS PARTY will be Saturday 15th December 10:30am until 12 noon(after coaching of course!!)
Lots of fun and games! 
ALL mini tennis players are welcome the more the merrier. 

The list of food items are inside the pavilion, please add your name to the list and bring one item to add to the buffet

Good Luck to coach Jane Rushby who will be side-lined for a while after an operation. Coaches and members are covering her sessions until she is back on court, perhaps on crutches!!!

Looking further ahead Derbyshire Lawn Tennis are looking for nominations for their Awards evening on 8th March at Pride Park. If you think that there is someone who deserves to be mentioned please let Julia Booth know on boothcjsa@hotmail.com with persuasive reasons! Put this note in your diary and tickets will be available in the New Year

Coaching next year will begin week beginning 7th January and please note that there will be no coaching at half term which is w.b. 18th February
