As the season comes to a close there are several successes to report on. Firstly, well done to Vic Allen who has achieved some success in South Africa over the Autumn and has increased her World ranking at U 18’s to top 20. She still has another year to play in this age group so good luck to Vic for next year and hope you have a good winter. Hope to see you at Wimbledon again next year!!!!

 

In August Derbyshire ran their closed County Championship at Duffield. Here are some of the club’s notable achievers

Maier Hunter -U10 girls’ doubles runner up and semi finalist in singles

Stan Salmon -semi finalist in U9 boys’ singles and doubles

Phoebe Salmon- semi finalist in U12 girls’ doubles

Charlotte Allin -RU in U 18 mixed, Open mixed and U18 girls’ doubles

Mae Fitzgerald -RU in girls’ U18 doubles

Ollie Shahidullah -RU U18 Mixed,  Open men’s singles semis, winner U18 boys’ doubles, RU Open men’s doubles

Reuben Shahidullah –RU in Open mixed, RU in U18’s boys’ singles, semis in Open men’s singles, RU in U18 men’s doubles, semis in Open men’s doubles

Dylan Hadley – winner U14 boys’ doubles, semis U16 boys’ doubles

Becky Williams – winner Open ladies’s doubles
