You may have heard about Pickleball  or read about it in the press. It's become very popular recently and is fast becoming one of the most popular racquet sports in the world'. The sport involves using hard bats and a perforated plastic ball. It's easy to learn, fun to play and uses a smaller court than tennis making it a great sport for children and adults alike. Our local LTA has kindly loaned us the equipment and temporary court markings and a group of members will be giving it a try very soon to establish whether it is something we would like to offer in the future. We'll report back and let you know what we decide and then hopefully offer it out to all members. Watch this space!
