New full year memberships for our 24/25 season will be available from 1 April.
Automatic renewals for our 24/25 Season will be taken out of accounts on or around the 2 April. Members do not need to do anything about us having a new bank account as all our payments go through GoCardless and they have our new bank details.
We are delighted that you are considering joing Cocks and Hens Tennis Club. Our membership period starts from 1 April 2024 (or when you sign up) to 31 March 2025.
It is simple to sign up - you will just need to click on the membership package you are interested in and the packages will be shown here and will last from when you sign up until end of March 2025. Fees for 2024/25 season appear below. Please note if you wish to sign up for a student membership then you need to apply first to Mary on the email below and send a photo of your student ID and proof that you are in full time education.

British Tennis Membership (BTM)
The Cocks and Hens is affiliated to the LTA and so all members of the Club are entitled to receive free British Tennis Play + membership and to opt into the LTAs ballot for Wimbledon tickets. However, this is not automatic and you will need to go to the LTA website LTA.org.uk/membership to register, where you will automatically be issued with your British Tennis Membership number. Benefits of membership include:
- Access to the LTA Wimbledon Ballot
- British Tennis Rating
- Regular online communications
By paying £20, you can become a British Tennis Fan + which entitles you to a further range of benefits including priority tickets for other major events (e.g. Queen’s Club, Eastbourne and the Davis Cup) and international Grand Slams (e.g. the French Open), personal accident insurance and discounts with Tennis.net.

Associate 2024/25

Adult aged over 18 on 1 January 2024. Play restricted to Mon-Fri 9am -5pm and to team practices, tournaments and matches. May enrol for courses, including those outside their restricted hours, and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible for LTA Wimbledon draw and to play in Club teams but not eligible to play in Club sessions outside restricted hours.
Family Group 1 2024/25

Where one parent joins as a Family Member, all their children (who satisfy the criteria for juniors and live at the same address) automatically become members. Can play at any time of day, may enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Each family member, including all children aged 13 or over, may be entered for the LTA Wimbledon draw.
Family Group 2 2024/25
01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025

Applies to juniors aged 18 and under on 1 January 2024. Junior Members can play at any time of day. They may enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible to play for both Junior and Senior teams, in Junior and Senior Club tournaments and to enter the LTA Wimbledon draw, provided they were aged 13 or over.
Mini Junior 2024/25
01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025
Applies to children aged 9 and under on 1 January 2024. Mini Juniors can play at any time of day and are eligible to play in teams and in junior club tournaments.
Eligibility: Not eligible to enter the LTA Wimbledon draw.
Non Playing 2024/25
01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025
Non playing members may participate in any event from the Club's social programme on the same basis, and at the same rates, as full members. They may use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: They are eligible to enter the LTA Wimbledon draw.
Parent Practice 2024/25
01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025
Allows parents, grandparents or guardians, who do not wish to commit themselves to play as a Full Member, to hit solely with their children, grandchildren or wards, who should themselves be Junior Members.
Eligibility: Eligible for the LTA Wimbledon draw and enrol for some courses. May use the croquet lawn.
Senior 2024/25
01/04/2024 - 31/03/2025
Adults aged 75 and over on 1st January 2024 and who have been a member of the club for over 10 years. Can play any time of day. May play in any of the regular Club sessions, enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible for Club tournaments, teams and the LTA Wimbledon draw.
Young adult 2024/25
