Congleton Lawn Tennis Club Limited
NEWS ON 2021-2022 MEMBERSHIP FEES COMING SOON
The club motto is "Tennis for All Ages and Abilities" and we operate an equal opportunities policy offering tennis to as many people as possible regardless of age or playing standards.
We are one of the oldest tennis clubs in the country - having been founded in 1890 and we have been on the same grounds throughout our history
The Club has some of the best facilities in the area with 9 courts; 7 all weather and 2 artificial grass. 4 of the all weather courts are floodlit. We also have a practice wall and a mini tennis area.
The clubhouse is a two storey brick building with balcony including gentlemen’s and ladies changing rooms with showers , a large function room with bar and kitchen, an area for juniors to use, an office and disabled facilities including lift. We have transformed our old clubhouse into an indoor mini tennis area.
There are two adult Club sessions per week from April until the end of September: Wednesday evenings (6pm to 9pm) and Saturday afternoons (1pm to 5pm).
The Club provides balls for members’ use in doubles foursomes, chosen using a peg-board system, playing a set at a time.
There are other organised groups running during the daytime on many days
