Twenty four club members braved the cold temperatures on Wednesday evening 7th  to take part in the clubs first tournament of the 21/22 season - the Spring Fun Tournament

Played as a timed tournament over five rounds the tennis was of a good quality and played in a friendly but competitive maaner as players made an attempt to reach the knockout stages.

In the first semi final Helen Dyson and Lawrence Poulain defeated Lynn Boyes and Luke Coltman and in the second semi final Louise Fenn and Kieron Beeston defeated Ian Graham and Vicky Garner

In the final Louise and Kieron emerged narrow winners and claimed the prize vouchers courtesy of sponsors Radchester’s Garden Ornaments

New chair Rob McNinch presented the prizes and thanked the sponsors for their generosity , all of the players for taking part and also Kerry Hall for providing cupcakes for the competitors
