Saturday 18th saw the staging of the 2019 Presidents Cup , sponsored by the Forum Chinese Restaraunt

The rain held off for the good number of club members who entered the tournament which was run in the usual American format

The round robin group stages decided the semi finalists who were Julian Keen and Sian Willis, Rob McNinch and Judy Lea , Pete Wardlaw and Eileen Grigg and Joe Buckley and  Janet Hirst

In the semi finals Julian and Sian beat Rob and Judy , with Joe and Janet defeating Pete and Eileen 

The final saw Julian and Sian defeat Joe and Janet in a ten point tie break to claim the prize vouchers 

Club President Alex Burton presented the prizes and thanked all those who took part 

Thanks went to event sponsors Forum Restaraunt, to Kerry Hall for providing delicious home made flapjacks as refreshments and to organiser Andrew Giltrap
