2017 saw the clubs Mixed B team relegated from the first division and there was some discussion about whether there was the appetite to continue with the team in 2018.Eventually it was agreed to keep the team going but to rotate players giving as many people as possible a chance to play.
At the end of the season not only have the team won promotion back to the top tier but do so as champions of the second division

Thanks to you all for keeping it ticking over whilst I was on 'sick leave' and I did make it back for the final game of the season 
However a special mention to Sue and Mike who went all the way to Audlem as a single pair on the morning England had a world cup match and won all four sets to earn us a draw and a vital point. We won't mention Sue's car blowing up on the way home !!  
Everyone is welcome to come along to the presentation day at Congleton on Sunday 9th September to take part in receiving the trophy. The more the merrier for a squad photo
