Sunday 15th was the day off the 2022 Vice Presidents Trophy in - this was the second staging of the event after it was introduced to the calendar in 2021. 

The event was a foursomes style event with qualifying groups taking place before the semi finals 

In the semi finals Margaret Wilshaw and Andrew Giltrap beat Maureen Taylor and Heather Bryson with Paul Walton and Nick Wilkins defeating Jackie Simpson and Greg Suldecki 

The final was won by Paul and Nick in a close encounter 10-8 

Organiser on the day was Ray Masson who thanked Karen Bannister from the sponsors Cheshire Posh Platters who provided the prize vouchers for the winners and all the members who took part in an enjoyable afternoon of tennis.
