Saturday 13th saw the staging of the 2019 Chairman’s Trophy American Tournament sponsored by The Olde Kings Arms 

There was a good turnout of players in spite of a bitterly cold wind. Players ranged from new members to team players

After round robin groups and semi finals the finalists were Eileen Grigg and Jim Worthington who faced Helen Dyson and Julian Kean 

Losing semi finalists were Beth Sladin and Matt Parker , Jackie Simpson and Ian Graham 

Helen and Julian won the final in a closely fought, first to 10 point tie break.

The two winners each received a meal voucher courtesy of event sponsors The Olde Kings Arms who were thanked for their sponsorship
