Six mens teams took to the court in week two of the South and Mid Cheshire League and only one emerged victorious

Tiffin Mens A hosted one of their traditional rivals in Hartford. A and the team of Alex Grocott,SImon Darmon , Tom Minshull and Peter Wardlaw emerged 7-1 victors

Mens C had a hard fought draw with Cuddington A but the other four Congleton teams all lost out

Mens B team of Toby Miller , Adam Goodall , Ben Waddacor and Ian Walker lost 3-5 at Alsager A whilst the D team lost out at home to Nantwich C , and the E team also lost to Alsager opposition - this time Alsager B

Mens F team of Richard Shipton/Dave Lonsdale and Les Malgas/James Clemens agonisingly went down 3.5-4.5 away at Cuddington D snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

Two of the three ladies teams however secured wins - Ladies A beating Hartford C and Ladies B beating Alsager A. Ladies C could not make it three out of three losing out to a strong Cuddington B side
