The first tournament of the year took place on Saturday 9th - the February Fun Tournament (also known as the Tinsel Rewind Early Season Tournament)

We had good weather and an equal number of ladies and men took part - there were 18 players in total. 

Competitors played seven fifteen minute rounds of split and move tennis . 

The final was a ten point tie break and Helen Dyson and Jim Worthington defeated Emma Walton and Joe Buckley to pick up the sports massage vouchers courtesy of event sponsors NORRIS HEALTH

There was mulled wine, mince pies and sausage rolls for all players afterwards
