Wednesday 4th saw the clubs latest tournament and the last chance for members to play competitively before the second lockdown commenced

This was the Fun Fireworks Tournaent which was played as a round robin American Tournament before semi finals and then the grand final

In the first semi final Les Malgas and Lindsay Newton defeated Ian Parsons and Claire Wilkins , whilst in the second semi final

Nick Wilkins and Margaret Wilshaw defeated Kathy Taylor and Anne Moore

A see saw final saw Les and Lindsay emerge overall winners. They received the trophy from Eileen Grigg of trophy sponsors EPG Accountants and the winners prize of vouchers from the Forum Chinese Restaurant

The players left the club knowing that there is now no tennis allowed for a month - hopefully we will be back on court in December
