Day 2 of the Corby British Tour takes place today, with 2 of our favourite Northants players through the draw. Both recently back from 4 years at USA university, Jack Haworth beat No10 seed Troy Dixon a 1.2 rated player from Oxford 6-1 6-3, while Cassie Dix took out Anya Kotecha from Herts 6-4 6-2. Haworth now faces No2 seed Alex Zucherman a 1.2 from Middlesex at 1.30pm, while Cassie plays No5 seed Olivia Rook at 11.30am. A Squad regular Lilia Boukikova kicks off her campaign at 9.30am this morning.

This year has seen a record number of entries into the draw, which sees many of the top aspiring tennis professionals the opportunity to hone their skills. The British Tour is an integral part of the competition programme in GB, and it gives local people the opportunity to watch a great level of tennis at no cost. Viewing is Free all week, so please come and give your support to these aspiring professionals, as it is so much more fun for them to play in front of some spectators
