The Joe Turner Tournament is held every year and a presentation was held afterwards to award prizes to the winners and runners-up for the various club competitions that were held over the season. For the first time ever, there was a special prize from coach James for the junior player who in his opinion was the most improved. None of the juniors were aware that this was a prize at all.
