Another great turnout for the Murray Doubles tournament, and good weather as well. Ten couples took part but unfortunately your correspondent had to sit out nursing an injury. Never mind, there was plenty of home baking and wine as a diversion.

A double celebration on the day, as founder member Evelyn had an important birthday and coach Morris had been awarded “Volunteer of the Year” by South Ayrshire Active schools.
