As a lead-in to this year’s Billie Jean King Cup in Glasgow, Prestwick Tennis Centre ran a 7U-11U girls only fun team tennis event for all local clubs and players. The ten teams that entered were split into two groups of five, the girls pairing up to play doubles against each of the teams in their group.

Congratulations to the Coylton team of Grace, Annie, Indie and Mirren, who came top of their group.

Prestwick’s cluster event was one of 5 from across Scotland and all players involved in each will be invited to a further event hosted by Tennis Scotland on the 12th November at Scotstoun. Not only that but the girls will each get a pair of free tickets to attend the Billy Jean King Cup match that afternoon at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
