Hi All

The Autumn and Winter season is upon us but a reminder that tennis continues throughout the year.  Social play continues at the same times and are published on the noticeboard in the club house and on the web site https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/CrossHillsTennisClub/Timetable.  The timetable for winter league matches for the men is on the notice board so do sign up and thanks to Charlie Scott for coordinating the mixed team.

A huge thank you to our secretary Oliver as he continues to update our website.  Do take a look and we will share more about its development at our AGM - the date of which will be published soon.

We are fortunate to have the floodlights so evening tennis can continue.  However, to respect our neighbours who are affected by the light spillage, we have taken the decision to end all play across the winter at 8pm. Please respect this decision.  If you do use the lights, please make sure they are all lowered after play.

A huge thank you to all members who continue to "do their bit" every time they play through the Autumn season by clearing leaves and sycamore seeds.  Everyone doing a small amount means nothing too onerous for the few.  Also, thanks to Tina who we currently employ to clean the club house.  Please make sure we all tidy up after ourselves to enable her to do this.  Our clubhouse is an excellent resource - let's look after it.

Finally, what an amazing achievement to raise £1600 at the tennis marathon.  Please ensure your praise of Adrian transfers to sympathy as he recovers from a wrecked knee.
