On Sunday 18th May, 10 pairs took to the courts in the annual Mixed Doubles competition.  The competition was played in great spirits, and, happily, the weather was both fine and not too hot.  There was some excellent tennis throughout the group stages.  The semi final line up featured Billy Penfold and Jacky Griffiths, who were vanquished by the eventual winners, and Naomi Hawdon and George Morphew, who had a very close fought battle with Mikey Turek and Clare Malloch.  Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all for taking part and sticking around to watch the final, where the cheers of the crowd were much appreciated!
