What can you expect?
At the Orange stage, children learn the rules & scoring to play the game from serve & return. Coaches will support children to grow their motor skills (orientation, hand-eye coordination, running & moving) to play in a dynamic environment. At the Orange stage children will increase proficiency, problem-solving skills & learn sportsmanship.
Notes from the coach
Course for 8-9 year olds who have played some tennis before. Please check with the Coach which course would be best for you. Focuses on physical and tennis skills, team building and fun. Please bring a racket if you have one. However I have a number of rackets to lend out. Just need to wear sports clothes with trainers and bring a drink. If poor weather the coach will be in contact with you via email before the session. The email you have provided will be used. Please also provide a mobile number in case of needing to contact you with short notice. Sessions cancelled will be replaced on the next course.
