Well done to Ben Wardell from Wellington Tennis Club who competed in his first external tournament this morning. 

The Wellington School pupil who's in year 7 played well in the Under 12s Ranking event, held in Taunton. He was very unfortunate to find himself on the wrong side of a 10-9 third set match tie break to a boy from Kent in the second round. 

It's great to see some of our players getting out and competing away from club and school. Ben will take a lot away from his experiences today and is one step closer to our goal of competing in the county championships in August.
