Government 'Lock Down' > Update

Covid-19
Update from the DLTC Committee.

Following our previous communication to you and now the Government's decision to have a three week extension on the 'lock down' restrictions, we remain positive that our sport can resume in mid-May, fingers and toes crossed.

As a club's committee, I can assure you that although we cannot actively play, we are working behind the scenes to see what financial support may be available to DLTC both locally and nationally, we are liaising with the Northants Lawn Tennis League on what options are available for the summer tennis season, this would have started last week.

The club does get visited during the week to check on security, our groundman Jim continues to keep on top of the maintenance too, so we will be good to go as soon as the lock down is lifted.

Lastly, just a quick shout out to say thank you to everyone who has opted to voluntarily pay your 2020/21 membership subs, this is greatly appreciated.

We will be in touch with you all again soon, in the meantime please stay safe.

Gareth Cox.
On behalf of the DLTC Committee.
