Latest Covid-19 update...

Courts available again from Wed 2nd December....

Some good news at last! You may have already seen the LTA's latest update, advising us that, as of 00.01 on Weds 2nd December, we'll be able to get back on court again! We'll be mightily impressed if anyone makes it down there with a head torch but from Wednesday morning onwards we'll be going back to where we were before the second lockdown, following Tier 2 guidance. This means we can:

  • play singles and doubles
  • have 1:1 coaching
  • resume Sunday morning club sessions

At the same time we must:

  • maintain normal social distancing at all times
  • observe the Rule of 6, meaning we shouldn't congregate in groups larger than this
  • keep spectating to a minimum (ha!)
  • not socialise before or after we play
  • take usual precautions with regular hand sanitising
  • not use the clubhouse - the only exceptions will be to use the first aid kit or for one person to go in to pick up balls for a club session.

Full details are available here - please take a look to familiarise yourself with the latest guidance.

Our first Sunday morning session will be at 10.00am on 6th December. Please continue to use the WhatsApp message group and scan the NHS COVID-19 QR code. As always, players will organise their own games for the winter club sessions (no dedicated organiser).

We're delighted to be opening the courts again and it's great to see people starting to book up sessions on ClubSpark already.

Stay safe and hope to see you on court soon!
