Wiltshire LTA Champion of Champions

The club were pleased to host the first such tournament of its kind on Sunday 7th October.  The competition pitted the winner of the Mens and Ladies Doubles events from each individual Wiltshire club to go head to head with each other in a round robin event.

We were represented by Mens Doubles Club winners, Sim Holmes and Ian Dunstone, with Ginny Dalrymple and Sarah Fleming, stepping in for Elaine Davis, competing in the ladies event.

Each match was a one set shootout, with the highest number of set wins, or game wins in a set draw, claiming the title.  There was a small turnout for the first iteration of the event, hopefully this will improve in subsequent years.

Our mens pair were victorius in their competition, winning all of their sets, while our ladies came in as runners up.  It was a great day for tennis and all the matches were played in good spirits.  Congratulations to both of our pairs.
