What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
PLEASE NOTE: This course is free of charge for 6 weeks but only available to members of Bishopthorpe Tennis Club and is aimed at children aged 6-8 years old. It is a fun, engaging session where children will learn to improve their overall co-ordintion and racket skills. Technique at this stage is not such a big focus although the basics of all shots will be looked at during the course. **This course takes place at Bishopthorpe Tennis Club**
