What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
This Youth Tennis Red class is a dynamic, action packed class to engage the players and make tennis exciting for them. The focus is more on developing good movers rather than on great technique and helping the players learn about positioning their body in relation to an oncoming ball. The class is played on smaller courts with red balls.
