LTA Youth is a ‘player centred approach’ and ‘skill based development’. All content is underpinned by a comprehensive competency framework and guiding principles. By using a game based play with appropriate challenges players learn all aspects Tennis while keeping active on court. It’s time for kids to play on full size courts. Now it’s all about growing their game by fine tuning and refining the techniques they’ve learned so far. Kids should now be in a position to act more independently on court. The sessions are run by an LTA accredited plus coach who is DBS checked and regularly completes safeguarding and first aid training. Each term internal match play and mini award days will be held with awards being handed out at a Celebration Evening at the end of the term.
