East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club hosts three Ladies’ Charity Tournaments each year. 

In 2025 they will be:

Wednesday 7th May – sponsored by Niche Flowers https://www.nicheflowers.com,  with proceeds from the raffle going to a local charity.

Wednesday 25th June – sponsored by member Aynsley Evoli and her Fresh Herb Salts enterprise https://www.freshherbsalt.com with proceeds from the raffle going to TennisAble https://www.tennisable.co.uk

Wednesday 8th October – sponsored by the Willgrass Family’s financial planning bushiness  https://www.willgrasswealthmanagement.co.uk with proceeds from the raffle also going to TennisAble.

The tournaments are open to allcomers on a first come basis and limited to 16 pairs playing in a compass draw format whereby winners go forward, losers backward/sideways and down!  It ensures everyone gets a full morning of tennis which is then followed by a delicious lunch and raffle.  Derek Perry orchestrates proceedings and Diane Bush does the admin.  Prizes are awarded to the winners and runners-up of the forward draw as well as the winners of the backward draw – so all to play for!
