What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
Ages: 5-8 years old. Using a combination of Mini Red and Mini Orange Tennis balls on smaller-sized Mini Red and Mini Orange Tennis courts. Sessions are designed to engage players with activities, drills and games in a safe and fun environment to help build players confidence and competence in the following areas of their Tennis; Forehands, Backhands, Serve, Return, Volleys, Tactics, Mental skills, Physical development and Match Play.
