We are very pleased to have received a grant from Gatwick Airport Community Trust (GACT) towards our ongoing programme of schools coaching for mini-squash. This programme enables our coach, Giles Cowdell, to visit primary schools and provide mini-squash coaching without the children and staff needing to leave the school. The programme can then continue with further development coaching in smaller groups at the Club in the centre of East Grinstead. 

The programme has previously reached ten schools in the East Grinstead area thanks to funding from Mid Sussex District Council and the National Lottery grant scheme. This new GACT grant, together with our own funds, will allow this successful programme to continue further into the future. Upon speaking with Steve Hill (East Grinstead Schools Sports Co-ordinator) funding for sports in schools has been sharply reduced recently, so local clubs are much needed to fill this void!
