On Sunday 31st August 2025, the club hosted a friendly and welcoming Afternoon Open Day, inviting members, guests, and anyone from the local community to come along and enjoy some tennis.

It was a great opportunity for players of all ages and abilities to get out on court, try the game, and meet others who share an interest in tennis. Whether picking up a racket for the first time or returning to the sport, everyone was encouraged to join in, and there was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

Club members were on hand to offer tips, organise informal games, and help newcomers feel at ease. The courts were busy with a mix of social play and light-hearted rallies, making it a fun and inclusive event for all who attended.

Refreshments were provided during the afternoon, giving everyone a chance to relax, chat, and enjoy the social side of the club as well.

Overall, the Open Day was a great success, and it was wonderful to see so many people come together to enjoy tennis and the club’s welcoming community spirit. We hope to see many of our visitors back on court again soon!
