Tennis For Free
Tennis For Free is a community sports charity that works in partnership with local councils, clubs and coaches to provide FREE weekly coach led family oriented tennis sessions to local communities in public parks.
The sessions are designed to be family friendly, meaning that there's something for everyone, so why not bring them all down and enjoy playing tennis together.
In partnership with Leicester City Council and Inspire2coach, Tennis For Free are looking to build a vibrant tennis community at Evington Park.
The sessions run on Sunday Afternoon and are open to anyone of any level and any age. The session is designed to be family friendly so book on all of your family members and come down to give the session a try. You and your family members will be able to participate in the various sub- groups appropriate to their age and standard.
The groups within the TFF session are:
3:30pm-4:30pm - Parent & Child Session (equipment is left out until 5pm to allow parents to continue playing with child after the 3:30pm-4:30pm session)
3:30pm-4:30pm - Beginners (typically non-rally capable juniors)
3:30pm-4:30pm - Improvers+ (Open Play session with coach supervision follows on until 5pm)
NOTE: After the 3:30pm-4:30pm coach led session, there is an Open Play session from 4:30pm-5pm for the Improvers+ group supervised by a coach.
