The bulbs are metal halide with a list price of £400, although our leader in this case Bill, managed to scure one at half the price!  The platform costs about £200 to hire, and Dan and Simon ventured to the dizzy heights to make the change.  Thanks to the team: Nigel, David.B & M, Nico and Jeremy.

The club has applied for planning permission to upgrade the lights to LED, primarily on the grounds of energy saving which should be in the range of 50-60%.
