Club Sessions through the winter
Remember £1 per person to cover lighting costs for the evening sessions, payable that evening in cash or online (no exceptions, you will face the treasurer’s wrath and a £5 donation to the club’s finances!).
5-7 p.m. Tuesdays, open to all players.
7-9 p.m. Tuesdays, for more advanced players by invitation (please contact David 07986 710 631).
Thursdays 6-8 p.m., open to all players.
Sunday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., open to all players, often with tea, coffee, cake and chat.
These sessions are run by members for members so sessions will naturally evolve alongside members’ motivations. The Committee is reviewing club sessions and is considering starting a family / teenage session next Spring and also a weekday daytime session open to all. Get in touch with the committee if you have ideas about Club Sessions, and also if would like to assist in getting these sessions off the ground.
Reminders
Leaf blowing. Remember to do your slot on the leaf-blowing rota (on the noticeboard in the clubhouse) as we need to keep the courts clear of leaves to be in top condition for everyone over the winter. The blower can be used at any time by members. Instructions for the blower are on the club notice board. Any questions contact Alan 07919 338992
Guest fees. Please remember to pay the £5 fee per guest into the wall safe or pay on-line (details on the website).
Floodlights for winter evenings. Any member may use the lights (£1 for 20 minutes) payable with £1 coins into the meters on the wall to right of the sink in the Club Room.
Lost property. Make sure you collect your things from the clubhouse or they may end up in a charity shop in the village!
