Hello everyone

It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing to you to say that due to the Covid-19 outbreak, and having been in contact with Tennis Scotland, the LTA and also our own coach Joe, we have taken the decision to suspend all club lead activity including coaching with immediate effect and until further notice.  This will be the case until AT LEAST until after Easter.

I understand and accept that this will not be a popular decision for some people and you may consider it an overreaction but it is the right thing to do at this time and anyone who is in any doubt about the severity of this is welcome to contact me for further explanations if necessary.

Health has to take a priority here.

If you wish to, you can still arrange to play tennis amongst yourselves as the courts will remain available for you to book, however this will be at your own risk.  The clubhouse will still be accessible for comfort breaks however the kitchen will no longer be available for making hot drinks etc.  Please do not use it.

We would also ask that due to the difficulty of obtaining hand sanitiser, that you bring your own and use it before you touch the club house door.  

We would also discourage social gatherings at the club until this has passed. 

We are about to enter into a time of great uncertainty and distress and should all be aware that this will have a profound effect on all of us.  Please look out for your neighbours and each other and I will send more information out to you as and when we receive it.
