What can you expect?
At the Orange stage, children learn the rules & scoring to play the game from serve & return. Coaches will support children to grow their motor skills (orientation, hand-eye coordination, running & moving) to play in a dynamic environment. At the Orange stage children will increase proficiency, problem-solving skills & learn sportsmanship.
Notes from the coach
ORANGE/GREEN is for players aged 8 to 10. Using a faster orange or green balls on a larger court these sessions are aimed at players who have the basic shots and need to refine them. You will cover the basic tactics and learn how to use these in matchplay situations. Our approach to helping children into the sport makes it far easier for them to develop their skills and progress with their tennis.
