Open Day 29th June from 2.00pm- 5.00pm
Please  do invite your family and friends to our Wimbledon Experience Open Day! Guests and visitors will be able to join our social session and play on our Grass Courts. It’s a free event and refreshments of Tea and Cake, Pimms and Strawberries and Cream will be available to purchase. Poster attached to this email so please do share it with you family and friends. There will be organised tennis activities for adults and juniors.

It would be appreciated if you can let Jane know on grange.tennis@gmail.com if you are able to help on the Open Day afternoon, and/or donate a cake towards the afternoon tea.

Rearranged Mens and Ladies Tournaments – new date  Saturday 20th July  2.00pm
After postponing the original dates due to poor conditions, we are pleased to have a new date for the Mens and Ladies Tournaments, Saturday 20th July  commencing 2.00pm (weather permitting of course). The tournament is open to all senior and pass-ported junior members.

We have decided to change the format to attract more entries. The tournaments will be fun doubles round robin event (similar to Andy Husband Tournament). Partners are drawn on the day or can enter as a  pairing, and please arrive by 2.00pm to be included. Please do bring a contribution to the shared tea at approx 4.30pm.

Saturday 20th July Men’s Doubles Tournament (Round Robin format) 2.00pm  entries on the day, and we can pair you up on the day if you do not have a partner - bring and share afternoon tea 

Saturday 20th July Ladies Doubles Tournament (Round Robin format) 2.00pm entries on the day, and we can pair you up on the day if you do not have a partner - bring and share afternoon tea 

Saturday 3rd August Mixed Doubles Tournament (Round Robin format) 2.00pm entries on the day, and we can pair you up on the day if you do not have a partner – followed by BBQ at £5/person- all members and family & friends very welcome – please let Jane know on grange.tennis@gamil.com  if you will be joining in so we can be accurate on the numbers for catering.

Bank Holiday Monday 26th August Basil’s Tournament - Mixed Doubles (Round Robin format) 1.00pm - entries on the day, bring and share afternoon tea.

Saturday 28th September – 2.00pm final Grass Court session followed by Fish and Chip Supper in Clubhouse approx. 5.30pm. All members and their families welcome.

Friday 18th October Grange LTC Annual Dinner and Presentations event 7.00pm at Branston Golf and Country Club – details to follow.

Saturday Social Play session every Saturday from 2.00pm – adult members and passported juniors all welcome.
Tuesday Summer Social tennis sessions  from  6pm.

Club matters
Tennis Balls: Please ensure you return balls to the clubhouse after play. Used match balls are available for general play but they are going missing, so your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

Saturday Social Session: currently the start time is 2.00pm, but we welcome your views on what time you think best to start. Some members arriving later in the afternoon are finding no one left to play with. Please do email Jane back with your thoughts: 1.00pm, 1.30pm, 2.00pm, 2.30pm, 3.00pm?
