Restricted Play from 14th September 2020

Dear Members,

With the Government’s announcement this week of restricting groups of no more than 6 people meeting up inside or outside we need to make changes to how we all can access the courts and continue to play tennis safely.

From Monday 14th September we will re- introduce the court booking system for all play -both for arranged play and in the social tennis sessions (Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evenings). You may play in groups of up to 4 people maximum per court.

Reminder on registering and using the court booking system: Clubspark Booking Tool – click the Booking tab on our website - here is the link. Its quick and easy to book, cancel and manage your court bookings. We ask all members to book their court sessions. You will need your LTA British Tennis Login to access it. Winter Social Play from week commencing 1st  October

From October we arrange usually winter evening social play by rota to avoid having to wait around in the cold and dark to see if anyone else is coming. However as explained above you must use the court booking system for all play -both for arranged play and in the social tennis sessions (Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evenings). You may play in groups of up to 4 people maximum per court.

Traditionally we have the following designated play evenings from 6.30pm over the winter – but please book a court and arrange to play with 4 people maximum per court:

Monday - Ladies

Tuesday - Mixed

Wednesday evening - Mens
