2017 was always going to be tough for both our men's team after the loss of a couple of players last year. The first team managed to put together 3 wins in the early-mid part of the campaign was just enough to keep our division 2 status alive. Stand out performances from Darin & Reuben along the way, and a fine peformances from Will and Steve (Hallam Grange) has proved that we are able to compete in the division at a high level. On reflection the season was always going to be tough with players playing their first full seasons for the A team and playing with new partners.

The B team however confirmed their relegation on the penultimte match of the season. The guys gave it their best, but the standard is always improving and our guys came up short against some more exerienced oppposition. Some of the our guys are still new to the match playing league so next year with more game time under their belts hopefully this will improve their chances further down the line.
