Played between October 2018 and February 2019 there were some strong contenders in this year’s winter leagues with our three teams playing in division one, three and four  turning out in the cold to play and complete their matches. 

Our first team were exceptionally unlucky to finish next to bottom in league one. After completing their final match it was a waiting game to see if our nearest rivals Beauchief B could manage to beat either Beauchief A or second placed Stocksbridge to pip us into sixth place, it was unfortunate for us and that by some kind of miracle Beauchief B did win the match against their A team by just one game sending us into the relegation position. Our second team improved on last year with seven wins compared to last year’s five in the same division. The C team were unlucky to finish bottom place in division four with five of their matches being lost by just a few games.
