A big congratulations is to go to all our competitors who have participated in the clubs double S&D Winter league promotion. The season which runs from October till January/February has seen our A and B teams complete a division 2 league runners up and a division 4 league championship success respectively. 

The A team finished runners up after a close finish, helped with a fair amount of 4-0 scorelines the team enjoyed their best winter league season to date. With testing conditions on some of their matches the team showed a great team spirit and a will to win all season round.

The B team responded in the best way possible and bounced back to claim the divison 4 title with a greater rubbers for average. The team were unbeaten for 8 matches and were nearly on course to extend that for the rest of the campaign. Strong team performances contributed to the no 1 position.

Also a mention to both captains Sue & Laura who led their teams to both promotion finishes. Thanks for their organising and leadership.

The C team who competed in its first year finished 7th and had 3 wins. 

2017 for the club on the court has so far been an excellent one so hope far and hope this continue, Can the year of 2015 be topped? watch this space.
